Mike Severson directs all investment activity for Bixby Land Company, having overseen the acquisition of more than 4.2 million square feet of office, industrial and R&D product while at Bixby. Severson has also facilitated the development of 1.2 million square feet of office and industrial projects. Severson has a 26-year background in real estate acquisitions, portfolio management, industrial brokerage and development.

Prior to joining Bixby Land Company, Severson was a director and portfolio manager for The RREEF Funds in Irvine, Calif. Severson advised the CalPERS industrial portfolio in California, Arizona and Texas while at RREEF, and grew the portfolio under his direction from 1.5 million to 20 million square feet of industrial and office properties valued at $1.2 billion. He acquired and developed more than $2 billion of industrial, R&D and office properties and directed $1.5 billion in dispositions throughout this major portfolio expansion.
