William R. Halford is president and chief executive officer of Bixby Land Company, a private REIT and vertically integrated commercial real estate investment and development firm. Founded in 1896, the company now operates an office and industrial portfolio throughout California, Nevada and Arizona valued at nearly $1 billion. Halford was appointed to this role in 2006 following more than 12 years as a member of the company’s board of directors.

Since joining Bixby Land Company, Halford has directed a strategic repositioning of the company through the sale and reinvestment of 40 properties totaling $800 million. Today, Bixby owns and operates an institutional quality portfolio of assets throughout the Western United States and has invested $600 million in a variety of joint ventures with institutional partners.
